A captivating combination of mythology, romance and a kick-arse heroine make this book impossible to put down. Lose yourself in the Violet Eden Chapters latest book, ENTICED.
Enticed is the second book in Jessica Shirvington’s YA paranormal series, The Violet Eden Chapters, set one month after the events of Embrace. Embrace ended with seventeen-year-old Violet Eden struggling with all the usual teen problems; a crush on a guy who thought of her only as a friend, struggling to connect with her distant father, who was never the same after Violet’s mother died, and all of the extra issues such as fallen angels and being a Grigori, part human part angel.
Violet is training with Lincoln and having trouble making the difference between killing the evil angels okay and killing in general, just bad full stop. The book was so well researched with all the biblical references, characters and legends. Shirvington has created some pretty original characters- Violet, Lincoln and Phoenix, who we get to know better in this second book.
Can’t wait to see how this end in the next book in the trilogy.
