Review:

The 15-year-old Cassie cannot believe it. Ironically, she received a scholarship to one of the best schools worldwide. You, the problem child must learn to live at an elite school. For the girl is hereby not just a dream come true, but her life is turned upside down by a completely different to the second.

Once in Paris, she feels like a foreign body, but survived thanks to her roommate quickly Isabella Caruso. But soon she realizes that something is wrong at school. Why the school is changed after each trimester the site and what's up with the "chosen" to be authorized on your mood truant classes?

As Cassie by Isabella and her classmate Jake learns that Jake's sister was murdered in the school even is her suspicion that something is wrong, confirmed.

She becomes friends with Richard, one of the chosen ones to find out more about the elect. But to what she encounters there, and what danger she goes so she would not, in their worst dreams could imagine ...

"Secret Park" is the first part of the Dark Academy series, which revolves around the lives of the 15-year-old Cassie.

Although you could already guess by the short description to which nature is here, this topic was not long in the foreground, so I was often tempted by the author on the wrong track.

Many things are unpredictable in this story, what made Dark Academy a great fun and exciting reading.

Gabriella Poole was able to convince me with her excellent writing style. Places like the Dark Academy or person like Cassie, Jake, or Isabella were very well described and detailed.

Above all, Cassie is told from their point of view the book, I noticed positive. They had before the Dark Academy a hard life, grew up in a home and was repeatedly rejected by foster families. Her parents, she has no contact and the other children in the home she was bullied. Only Patrick, her supervisor, was her sole caregiver.

The role of caregiver has now taken over her roommate, Isabella. Although the two girls are very different, they come out beautifully with each other and stand together.

However, I was not always clear with Isabella's way. Although her parents are very rich and some very wasteful lives, she never forgets Cassie and holds back in Lobeshymen. However, it seems to put me in places, especially their behaviour towards Jake.

But other important characters, like Jake or worm from the elect, Richard and Catherine gave me very much. Is never really clear who actually does something evil up his sleeve or not.

Even the cover design I like very much. Above all, the delicate colours and the bright eyes are a visual highlight that stands out in any bookcase.

"Secret Pact" is a wonderful start to a perfect combination of good and evil is never boring and offers.
