Description:
If you're going to fall in love with a vampire, make sure it's a bite to remember...
Rule 1: Never get involved with someone who won't be there for you when the sun comes up. Rule 2: Never kiss a vampire...it can be a pain in the neck.
Once bitten, twice shy - and sexy PI Jackie Morrisey so wasn't going there again with a vampire. Vincent Argeneau might be the hottest guy she'd ever met, living or dead, but she'd been hired to stop a killer from turning him into dust, not to jump into bed with him.
So what if Vincent's had four hundred years to perfect his kissing skills and looks incredibly tempting when he runs around the house shirtless. He's also charming, protective...and did we mention he can kiss? Jackie needs to be on her guard, or else she'll have to come up with a new rule: if you're going to fall in love with a vampire, make sure it's a bite to remember.

Review:
A Bite to Remember is the fifth book in the Argeneau series of novels by author Lynsay Sands. It can be read without having read the previous instalments in the series but the most enjoyment will be gained from this read if you are up to speed with the characters and previous plots outlines in the other novels.
In this book we see Jackie Morrisey, Private Eye working to help the Argeneau family of vampires. As the book is into fifth in the series, the vampires have been well developed over the previous books and they are very familiar to the reader. Even without reading the previous novels, you get the idea that these are finely honed creations of an experienced and successful author.
Sands is an expert at weaving previous storylines and characters into her new books, but not so much that if you missed a book you would be lost. There is always a twist of mystery in the books unlike many other paranormal romance novels. A Bite To Remember is entertaining as Sands takes a different perspective on the origin of vampires and how they live their lives.
