Review

This novel is about six students and a teacher, whose intriguing experiences from a school excursion threaten to turn them into murderers. The main character, Emma Montgomery, realizes that her fellow classmates which were there during this trip begin to act abnormally and complain about their sleeping. Not long after they all realize that they have been hypnotized, like the young girl whom they saw murder a Reverend Michaels one night during their trip. Eventually, the sudden deaths of a few other students forces them to come to the conclusion that they are responsible for these murders, so they try to help keep each other awake, but in vain. Emma realizes that it will only continue to occur until they find who, or what playing them as puppets for this evil game.

Fahy keeps the suspense and thrills of the book flowing from page to page through well crafter prose and excellent dialogue. The creepiness of the cover was also chosen perfectly to portray the atmosphere of the novel.

This is one author that I will be keeping an eye out for in the future.
