Review:

I wanted to read this book simply because I am a bit of a zombie fan, be it movie, graphic novel or book. While Alone – Chasers was classed as a YA book, I found it written in a style that would appeal to both the YA and Adult market.

Alone, starts with a bunch of teens travelling on a train in America’s underground system when an unknown and unexplained attack takes out the train and many of its passengers. When the kids regain consciousness and find their way out of the tunnel, they are shocked at the sight of people drinking from the bodies of the fallen, or unaffected.

The story travels along at a rapid pace from here, with the group fighting for survival in a strange and hostile environment while looking for answers as to who and why this attack happened.

This is not your typical clichéd zombie tale.
