Review:

Let me start by saying that I began water colour painting a few months before Christmas, so was keen to pick up this book and learn some necessary skills. I was ecstatic with the quality and full colour photographs used in this book. Jones starts with the basics, such as the equipment and materials required to start out painting with water colours to some very interesting techniques to experiment with later on.

There are plenty of step by step activities to try out and learn new skills, which is great for someone with no experience like me. The full colour images are high quality and really help the reader get a good understanding of what the author is describing.

I’ve already learnt a couple of great new skills from this book and look forward to trying out all of the techniques.
